HAND BUILDING SLAB POTTERY WORKSHOP
Rosemary Danaher is an experienced potter and teacher. She is teaching hand
building using the soft slab method. Students will learn how to handle clay, roll it out, imprint it or scribe a decorative pattern, and build it onto a form for drying, how to 'clean up' your shape after the first firing, and how to glaze, then finish the final piece after glazing. The projects include a plant holder and/or a plaque for the wall, with other smaller objects using up small scraps of clay.
