Floral Collage Workshop

In this floral collage class, participants will explore the process of creating flowers and foliage from torn painted papers, building a vibrant, one-of-a-kind floral bouquet artwork. The instructor supplies all of the materials for everyone to create an 8 x 10-inch floral

collage on a pre-painted canvas. The canvas is prepped with a simple bouquet outline to give everyone a starting place and a background for the collage. Participants will be guided through choosing from a variety of painted papers, exploring different colours and patterns, and learning different ways to tear shapes to create a variety of flowers and leaves. We’ll layer and arrange the torn pieces on the canvas to build a unique floral bouquet. Finished examples and guides will be available throughout the class. There is lots of room for creativity and experimentation. Suitable for all levels of creativity.
